Responsibilities
- Design and ship REST APIs in NestJS backed by PostgreSQL and Prisma.
- Own data modelling decisions and keep migrations safe as the schema grows.
- Build background processing with Bull queues for imports, invoices and notifications.
- Instrument services with Prometheus metrics and structured logging.
- Take part in an on-call rotation with a real handover process.
Requirements
- 4+ years building backend services with Node.js and a typed framework.
- Deep PostgreSQL knowledge — indexing, query plans, transactions.
- Experience with Redis for caching, queues and rate limiting.
- Comfortable owning a service in production, including debugging live incidents.
- Clear written communication in English.
